Tips-Making OPTIFAST VLCD products more interesting

- Add flavourings such as decaf coffee, peppermint or orange essence to shakes and puddings.
- For something different, try a spoonful of decaf coffee in a Chocolate Shake to make it into a Mocha shake.
- Try adding diet toppings to shakes. For example, mix caramel with the Vanilla Shake for a delicious new flavour.
- Chocolate dessert tip – Mix quickly with cold refrigerated water, add a small amount of chopped strawberries or mango and put back in the fridge for 1 hour for a delicious filling dessert.
- Try the Optifast Cappuccino Bar with a cup of Lipton’s Chai Vanilla Tea for a complementary lunch option.
- Spice up your Chicken Soup – try ½ cube chicken stock, chilli, pepper, curry paste, or other spices for extra flavour.
- For a hearty meal, add steamed vegetables (eg. cauliflower, broccoli, carrot, onion and celery) to prepared Optifast Soup.
- For a nice thick vegetable soup, try using a can of tomatoes and chicken stock as a base, and add whatever vegetables you wish from the allowed list.
- For best Optifast Shake results, use refrigerated cold water rather than tap water, add to a large shaker and shake for a couple of minutes.
- Create your own flavours by mixing and matching Optifast shakes, for example mix half a Chocolate shake with half Banana shake!
