Socialising
- When out at a social event, stand away from the table with the nibbles to avoid mindless eating.
- You do not have to miss out on dining out with friends and family. The key is to have a shake before you go, and order a garden salad with dressing on the side. Do not go on an empty stomach, you may not be able to resist temptation!
- Tackle social occasions by planning ahead. For example, if eating out, find out the name of the restaurant and check out the menu beforehand.
- Instead of socialising around food and drink, catch up with friends and family on a walk along the beach, a scenic bush walk or a round of golf.
