Tuna Pasta Salad

Preparation time: 10 min




  • ½ cup pasta, uncooked (spiral, rigatoni, penne)
  • ½ tablespoon low calorie Italian dressing (10mL)
  • 95g tuna in spring water
  • 1 small grated carrot (50g)
  • ½ medium red capsicum cut into strips (20g)
  • 1 finely chopped spring onion


  1. Cook pasta in boiling salted water until just tender. Drain.
  2. Toss in Italian dressing whilst pasta is still hot.
  3. Stir in carrot, capsicum and spring onion.
  4. Break tuna into large flakes and gently stir through pasta.
  5. Serve warm or chilled.
