Thank you for downloading the OPTIFAST MyProgram app. You’ve made a great choice for your weight loss journey, and we’re committed to supporting you every step of the way.

Not feeling confident in using the app? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. The following tutorial videos will take you through the five key icons located at the bottom of the app screen: what they are and how to use them. You’ll be a pro in no time.

So open the app and let’s get learning!


 

Part 1: Today Screen

 

This is the default view in the app – the first screen you’ll see when you log in. It displays today’s data and mini-goal progress. Manage your mini-goals from this screen, and keep an eye on calorie limits and what you can eat. You can also manage your settings from the menu, including your weight goals and dietary information.

The profile screen is where you can also find the 'My Weight History' section where you can enter your back-dated weight entries - see image below.

Part 2: My Progress

 

Head to the My Progress screen to see your starting weight, current weight and goal weight.

A graph will display your calorie intake for the day along with steps and body weight. Compare your daily recommended and actual calorie consumption, and view data from the last week, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. You can also scroll down to view your achievements here – pendants and trophies that have been awarded for hitting your goals.

UPDATE since this video was produced:
1. The My Program screen now shows your start, current and goal weight at the top of the screen and the graph will show all the weight entries entered in the 'My Weight History' area (found in your menu profile section).

2. If you want to change your start weight you can do this by going to your profile section, scrolling to the bottom of the page and selecting 'Restart my OPTIFAST Journey'- see below. This will take you back to the profile set-up screen where you can re-enter your start weight and profile information again.

IMPORTANT: Restarting your journey will KEEP any historical weights entered in the 'My Weight History' list, the only things that will be removed when you restart is:
  • Your past mini goal levels
  • Any trophies or pendants
  • Shopping list

 

Part 3: My Meals

 

This screen is where you plan and track your meals and calorie intake. Broken up into morning, afternoon and evening sections, you can follow the recommended meal plan tailored to your program, or add food items of your own. Check off items you’ve eaten and watch as your daily calorie dials shift. 

As you add food items, recipes and OPTIFAST products to your meal plan, ingredients will automatically be added to your shopping list for easy grocery planning.

TIP: If there are certain OPTIFAST products that do not appear when you try to 'Add an OPTIFAST product' it is likely you have an intolerance or an allergy to an ingredient listed in the product so they are filtered out for you. If you would like this filter turned off, please contact us through our contact us form.


 

Part 4: Recipes

 

On the Recipes screen you can search and discover delicious, OPTIFAST dietitian-approved recipes to add to your meal planner. You can access breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes here. Filters are automatically pre-selected according to your dietary requirements and allergies, but you can view further information from the recipe page.

 

Part 5: Shopping List

 

You’ll love the Shopping List feature in the app! As you plan your meals, OPTIFAST products and any other ingredients you need for the week will be added here. Simply head to the supermarket and pharmacy with your OPTIFAST app in hand and you can easily check items off as you add them to your cart.
