Pre-operative weight loss is often desirable to optimise the safety and outcome of surgery in obese patients scheduled for bariatric surgery. Please consult your surgeon for more information on the use of the OPTIFAST® VLCD™ Program.

Post-surgery considerations
You may also be required to continue using OPTIFAST® VLCD™ products post bariatric surgery for a period of time before moving onto more solid food. Your dietitian and surgeon will advise you on the best plan for you post-surgery.
