Optifast® Expert Advisory Panel

Optifast^® VLCD™ is supported by an expert 'VLCD™ Obesity Intervention Advisory Board' which is comprised of a broad range of Health Professionals with expertise in Obesity. These professionals include cardiologists, endocrinologists, exercise physiologists, sports dietitians, consultant physicians in clinical nutrition, pharmacists, clinical Psychologists and the Director of Clinical Research from a well known centre of Obesity Research and Education in Victoria.

All members of this board are supporters of Optifast^® VLCD™ and utilise it in their treatment plans. Many of them also conduct research utilising Optifast^® VLCD™.

Collectively the board are committed to improving the Optifast^® VLCD™ program, to ensure that we provide the best program for you, and offer the right support to help you improve your health outcomes.

The Weight Management Code of Practice was launched in 1994 by the Weight Management Council Australia.
The code aims to provide a comprehensive guide for the protection of consumers' rights and the conduct of weight management businesses.
